Star Wars The Old Republic or what's more commonly called as SWTOR has been finally been officially launched last December of 2011. This multi million dollar game was created and developed by BioWare group.
This new and exciting MMO was based on the highly popular movie series by Lucas Films, the "Star Wars." The movie is about a young Jedi who is trapped in the battle between the power of the Sith and the Jedis. Although the game is not actually within the time period of the movie series, the characters and story is very much familiar to those who have seen all the movie of Star Wars.
SWTOR is not actually your usual MMORPG where you will just have to eliminate the power of darkness or good whichever side you started with, but rather, a certain end is met can be realized by the gamers regardless of the initial side they started out in the game. One can find himself playing for the Sith in the beginning but later siding on the Galactic Republic towards the middle of the gameplay. There are also other unique features that are in store for everyone who will start their journey in SWTOR. Of course there are also other factors in the game that are similar to other MMOs like WoW and Starcraft 2, like the raids, PVP, PPE, Team Battles and Quests which can be enjoyed by all gamers. The game doesn't end or become too easy when the players reach a certain level in the game, unlike the other MMOs, in SWTOR it becomes more challenging so there won't be anytime in the whole course of the game where the players can feel a plateau or bored in their game. The surprises and challenges will never end and the developers of the game is still continuing to develop and improve the game as more and more players are joining in everyday.
